How to Choose File Format, Image Size, and Quality on Your Canon EOS 6D

One of the first decisions you make regarding your images on your EOS 6D is the file format. You can capture JPEG or RAW images. When you choose the file format, you also specify the image size. If you choose the JPEG format, you specify the quality as well. You even have an option to capture both formats simultaneously. To specify the image format:

Press the Menu button.

This displays the last used menu on your LCD monitor.

Press the Multi-controller left or right to access the Shooting Settings 1 tab.

Use the Multi-controller or the Quick Control dial to highlight Image Quality.

Press the Set button.

Your image format, size, and quality options display.

Rotate the Main dial to specify a RAW setting. Download File PDF
