Popular aftermarket options in cars, remote starters have become a favorite accessory for many drivers. These starters can be bought, programmed and reprogrammed for different vehicles, and can be set up with your car using a few simple steps.
Step 1 - Put your key into your car's ignition and turn it to the "On" position, one click before the "Start" position.
Step 2 - Press and release the small black button on your car remote, known as the valet switch. Press the button a second time and hold it.
Step 3 - Press the "lock" button on your remote while holding the valet switch.
Step 4 - Release both buttons and turn the key back to the "Off" position.
