How to Remove the Front Bumper on a Celica

The front bumper on your Toyota Celica might need replacing if it's cracked or chipped. Because the bumper sits so low to the ground on the Celica, it's not uncommon for this to happen. Replacement bumpers can normally be purchased from a Toyota dealership, or from an automotive supply store. Once you have the new bumper, you need to know how to remove the old one.

Step 1 - Raise the Celica on jack stands. Jack up the front of the Celica using the jack point behind the radiator. Place jack stands under the front pinch welds and lower the vehicle onto the jack stands.

Step 2 - Remove the plastic screws in the wheel well that hold the wheel liner to the bumper.

Step 3 - Remove the screw bolts under the front of the bumper that hold the bumper to the bumper support.

Slide the bumper off the bumper support.

THINGS YOU'LL NEED: Jack, Jack stands, Socket wrench, Socket set, Philips screwdriver
