Instructions
Step 1 - Look inside the truck cab on the driver's side to see if there is a clutch pedal. If there is a clutch pedal, this means that the Dodge Ram has a manual transmission. If there is no clutch pedal, then the truck has an automatic transmission.
Step 2 - Open the hood of the truck and locate the transmission fluid container. The vehicle's transmission information will be located on a plate adjacent to the container.
Step 3 - Read the vehicle owner manual and you will be able to identify the vehicle's transmission information.
