Car seats get a lot of wear, especially if you have children. Sometimes if there's a spill on a cloth seat you might not find it until the dampness has allowed mildew to grow. Removing mildew from a car seat isn't too complicated; with a couple of common household cleaners and some old fashioned elbow grease, before you know it you can have that cloth car seat looking as good as new.
Step 1 - Mix the laundry booster with the peroxide in a small bowl.
Step 2 - Apply the cleaning solution to the mildew stain, rubbing it gently with a clean cloth until the stain is gone.
Step 3 - Rinse the area with clean water, using a sponge until the wrung out sponge runs clear water.
Suck up the extra moisture with a wet vacuum, or blot with a towel and allow to dry completely in a sunny spot.
THINGS YOU'LL NEED: ½ tsp. liquid laundry booster, ½ cup hydrogen peroxide (3 percent), Clean cloth, Sponge, Wet vacuum
